Hello,

I've found that setting the Character Spacing in Powerpoint to "Normal" helps to eliminate this problem, without re-entering all of the content.

I was afraid of that. What concerns me is: the copy must be retyped to lose the od color variation. A simple selct and recolor does not fix the issue. Retyping the odd colored copy renders this feature useless. Clearly there is a bug when rendering font color.

Yes, the fonts are embedded. The exported version is applying a faux bold style to the copy.

Actually any export of PDF page content to another file formate (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) will need touch up / clean up in the native application 99 44/100 ths of the time.

While a well-formed Tagged PDF (e.g., ISO 14289-1, PDF/UA-1 compliant) can export to Word and call for little to no touch up / clean up PowerPoint is something else.

In the example the background color, text size, color and postion are well within the ball park. To "fine tune" would (of course) call for post-processing.

Don't have an answer, but a question that might help shed light. In the PDF, are the fonts embedded? Are the same fonts used in the exported PDF as the original?

Hello, I am using Acrobat XI's export to Powerpoint feature and having some problems with font color.l Enclosed is a screen shot of the pdf and the results it produces. When I go into powerpoint and attempt to change the font color of a selected line of text, the color changes, but each individual letter is still a different hue.

The font color is consistent if I retype the title, but that would defeat the purpose of export to PDF. Any help is appreciated.

Notice the color variation in the title lettering and the incorrect representation of the bowtie.

I am using Acrobat 11.0.06

and Powerpoint 20011 Version 14.3.9 (131030)
