I am no longer having this issue. I believe it was due to an issue with the file server and not Edge Code. Thanks for following up on this with me.

I am also having this issue now. Just today I am not able to save files in Edge Code.

Also I notice that just this morning when I used Ctrl + S to save, the file modification date on the files came up as 11/29/1999.

One more question: have you by any chance enabled the under-the-hood Debug menu? Some of the menu items under there, such as New Window, could cause keyboard shortcuts to work incorrectly. Try using File > Save in the menu bar and see if it works when the shortcut doesn't.

Have you installed any extensions in Edge Code? If so, can you try disabling them (move them from the 'extensions/user' folder to 'extensions/disabled' and then restart Edge Code)?

The next time the problem happens, leave Edge Code open and load this URL in Chrome: http://localhost:9235/. You should see a single link there, matching the Edge Code window's titlebar. Click it, then click the Console tab. Please copy everything in the console and paste it into a message here (or send it privately if you wish).

Lastly, just to clarify: are you saying that when the problem starts happening, when you edit a file it no longer causes a dot to appear next to the filename in the titlebar and "Working Files" list?

Bug: save not saving

Most of my sessions with Edge Code have ended with the app not saving changes to disk. The only way I've found to correct this is to quit (losing work unless I copy it out to another app) and relaunch. At first I was completely baffled as to how I could tell if it would behave this way but after a couple times I noticed that it starts not-saving when all indications of saved or changed states disappear from beside the file names. Then I know to stop working and do the relaunching thing.

Better would be if this didn't keep happening and I could just trust that the save function will do so.
