You telling us you provide developers with PSD-Files.

Why you don't ask your developers to try Reflow by themselve and give a feedback to you???

Or export your Design (PSD) in Reflow so you have the .html-Files and let the developers see this files and code and look what they about it.

Yes! That's exactly what I am wondering too...

First of all, I am a graphic designer, I usually provide developpers with design files (photoshop). With responsive design, I am thinking of what is best way to work and design efficiently and not loose precious time.

To me, importing photoshop files into Edge reflow is just some kind of patch up solution... it seems like a waste fo time.

After reading this article http://blog.teamtreehouse.com/responsive-web-design-in-the-browser-part-1-kill-photoshop about killing photoshop in the webdesign process, I was thinking, yes, it makes sense but I am not a developper, so no that's not for me.

Then I saw this Edge Reflow Video Watch the Online Video Course Creating a Responsive Design with Edge Reflow and although I found the multiscreen testing while designing functionnality AWESOME, I am a bit disappointed of the files formats you can export. I am not 100% sure a developper will love to have an auto generated html file to deal with... usually auto generated html are not like the developper would like them to be. And I am pretty sure de veloppers won't buy Edge Reflow.

What do you think about that ? Are developpers happy with the auto html files generated by reflow ?

What about exporting a psd layers file from Edge Flow so that developpers cut their images like they want to, and we design in Edge Reflow with the ability to visualize the multiple screens responsive behavior

This is up to you in the end.

We know a lot of designers will start designing in Photoshop. So we've worked to get them into Reflow as easily as we can. We're actually working on improving the Photoshop import feature for our next release by quite a lot.

But at some point, you may feel more comfortable designing in Reflow. If that happens, that's great! Post some work here or let us know your thoughts!

Hi,

By watching the video Import Photoshop CC Assets into Edge Reflow I asked how was it necessary to use Photoshop before Edge reflow and then do an import in Edge reflow?

I mean:

If a designer gives a photoshop model to a developer, this import can be useful.

But if I start from scratch, is not it more appropriate to start my design directly on Edge Reflow? Or in what should I first use Photoshop?

What do you think?
