Hey there, I just wanted to follow-up on this in case anybody in the future experiences the same issues as me.

As a refresher, this is the nature of my initial issues more clearly explained:

Experienced issues with rendering both Web Help and Adobe Air Browser-Based Help when published to my Adobe Business Catalyst host server.

The help includes content categories (Dynamic user-centric content categories) with the Content drop-down menu.

The help window rendered without issues when viewed locally on my computer.

After trying a GAZILLION potential mitigating steps, I followed a lead @Jeff Coatsworth may not be a suitable environment to warehouse my help files. So, I went to GoDaddy and bought web hosting and published my files there. VOILA! My help files are rendering as expected and all is well. Here's the final product: http://niatihelp.com/DynmcUsrCntnt/index.htm

It's happened with both the Web Help versions as well as the Browser-Based Adobe AIR version of the output. All of the latest RH patches are installed. I don't think it's a browser issue because the same things are happening in Chrome, FireFox, and IE. I've also observed it on multiple different computers using multiple different browsers on each. I'm truly at a loss.

It's an Adobe Business Catalyst Web Server so I don't think that's an issue. It seems like something is happening with the tri-frame window when viewing from the web (vs. locally) the topic content is overlapping the TOC. It's so odd. At least with the AIR help I can actually see the Content drop-down menu and make a selection. While the Content drop-down menu is expanded, the frames somewhat correct themselves but they're still not right - I'm assuming because there is no topic content displayed while the drop-down menu is expanded. I'm perplexed.

Let me provide a little more information:

Originally I was generating Web Help but I was experiencing the same issues with the Web Help when I put it up on the site. When I linked to Index. htm, the window was skewed and the Contents were not displayed on the left-hand side. Then I tried linking to one of the topic html files - that solved the window display problem, but then the Content drop-down menu was not displayed. This project has a few different content categories that can be selected in the content drop-down menu. It works locally but once I get it up on the server and link to it from my site, it's wonky.

I'm using RoboHelp 11 to generate Adobe AIR browser-based help with content categories included. The output looks great when I open it from the local SSL directory; however, once I transfer the files (via FTP) to the server on which my website is hosted, the browser-based help looks VERY bad. I'm not quite sure what's going on. It could be something very simple that I'm overlooking. I created my website using Adobe Muse and it's hosted through Adobe Business Catalyst so I'm not sure why my Help files aren't displayed properly. Here's a link to the file on my website: index

Any guidance will be much appreciated!

Regards,

Nick Iati
