Look in the system event viewer for previous crashes of Photoshop...

I do not notice anything particular in the error reporting but then again I did not agree to send the data. I will next time it happens.

I have try that several times without success.

To give you more info:

- sometimes I work and have no problem

- sometimes I work and suddenly it crashes - After that, I cannot even reopen for a while - I get the error message below. Then later for some strange reason, it works again.

Note: I exchange files with other users that have been made on a Mac and sometimes I have font issues.

What do the detailed crash reports say?

(the ones from the system event viewer)

The most common cause of crashes in CC 2014 is bugs in out of date video card drivers (just update the driver from the GPU maker's website).

You could try resetting Photoshop's preferences to defaults:

Press and hold Control - Shift - Alt simultaneously immediately upon cold-starting Photoshop. If you get the keys down quickly enough - and you have to be really quick - it will prompt you to confirm deletion of your current preferences, which will lead to the establishment of a fresh default set. If it does not prompt you, you haven't been quick enough to get the keys down.

I have windows 7 and I am not sure why 2014 is always crashing. Is there a way to clean up preferences maybe to clear any mess?
