The only other way is to (have a developer) create a tool to mimic the WebHelp in CHM script for you. Otherwise you are constraint by the CHM technology.

Kind regards,

Willam

Also, this documentation has to be delivered along with the

application build, so irrespective of having access to the web the users

must be able to read this file.

Is there any other way to solve this issue?

From: Willam van Weelden

Sent: Thursday, July 17, 2014 2:48 PM

To: Chatura Machavolu

Subject: Skin change in the RH 5

Skin change in the RH 5

created by Willam van Weelden

<https://forums.adobe.com/people/WillamvanWeelden> in HTML Help (CHMs)

- View the full discussion

<https://forums.adobe.com/message/6557901#6557901>

If you create CHM, there is not much to be done in the way of styling. It's a Microsoft technology and hasn't been updated in years. No way to change how it looks.

There are, of course, alternatives to CHM. Whether you can use them depends on what you are trying to achieve. You can manually create a WebHelp/CHM hybrid but it requires you to create a WebHelp output and then create a new project, adding every WebHelp output file as a baggage file. Huge time investment.

Another offline format is AirHelp, which was introduced with RH7 but it never really took off.

From your post, it seems you can neither upgrade to a newer version of RH or use online format. Is that correct?

Kind regards,

Willam

Presently, i am using the Robohelp 5 version. The chm feel and look of this version is very outdated and doesn't give a modern appearance. I have visited other forums, but the commonly used methodology is to create a webhelp with the new skin settings and then convert to chm. But, this facility is not available in this version. Can you suggest any other solutions for this issue.
