The Newegg description for the RaidMax case is wrong on 2 counts

The case is not 22" high as it measures on the picture... it is almost 23" high, so to make it work in my 22.5" space I will have to take the feet off... minor problem

Bigger problem is that the specifications lists a 140mm top fan... there is NO top fan in the case... slightly bigger problem, but since I bought a 4 pack of 120mm fans to add 2 to the side, I will just add one to the top as well

ADDED - where it said top fan in the description, it SHOULD have said rear fan, which is there... anyway, as I said, I will just use my fan in the top

Otherwise, the case does seem to be well made... Oh... and the 3.5" drive bays have integrated adapters for 2.5" SSD so once my box of parts gets here Monday I will get an RMA for the 4 adapters I bought

John, If I were to build a new system and there is a brand new better and faster CPU and motherboard to be available within the next 60 days, I would wait as I am really doing. The hex-core CPU with full PCIe capability is now advertised on a Pre-Order basis the i7-5930K for $631.54. The only gotcha is that these new systems require DDR4 memory which is much faster than DDR3 but more expensive

I have not personally experienced the New Crucial M550 but Eric at ADK loves them and that is good enough for me. I would sure stay away from the Samsung EVO.s as they have terrible write performance in real world situations. I returned three that I got when they first came out. The 256 GB Crucial M550 is only $154, just a few dollars more than your EVO 250 GB

That PNY Turbo USB 3 Is amazing I now own four of them!

The MAXimum height to fit in my computer desk is 22.5" and the Cooler Master full tower is 23+"

Sabertooth because it has all the features that **I** need at my $$ budget (actually more $$, but I decided against the 4770k processor)

Why did you decide on the raidmax tower vs the coolermaster? Also, why the sabertooth MB vs ASUS P9X79 WS LGA 2011 Intel X79 SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 SSI CEB Intel Motherboard with USB BIOS - Newegg.com ?

Be advised, I'm not making suggestions. I'm building a similar (ballpark similar) system and trying desperately to understand the differences.

A couple specific questions, as well as the general question of did I miss anything?

First - I have read that the Samsung 840 Pro SSD is "the best" but also that the Crucial M550 is very good, so I am currently looking at Samsung for my "most important" drive for Windows and programs, and Crucial for everything else (which will all be copied to at least two USB hard drives for backup)

Question-1 - OR, is Crucial good enought to also use for Windows and programs?

Cancel question... going with all Samsung... Pro for boot, Evo for everything else

Second - I edit pictures and home video from a combination Canon SX-510 12 Megapixel camera, so I am debating between the EVGA GTX760 with 2Gig or 4Gig of ram... the 4Gig model is only $35 more at Newegg, but since Premiere Pro and Photoshop CS5 work well with my current GTX285 with 1Gig of ram, I am not at all sure that I need a card with 4gig instead of 2Gig (I will NEVER edit 4k video!!!)

Question-2 - For the editing I do, what does the GTX760 4Gig give me for $35 more?
