Hi Liz,

Edge Code is based on the open-source Brackets code editor that Adobe created. The latest release of Brackets features a powerful new Replace Across Files command. (Brackets releases more often than Edge Code, so you will find the newest features there first).

Unfortunately it's not possible yet to leave the search field open when you click back into the text editor. You can vote for that feature idea here: Find/Replace: Leave search bar open when editor focused. In the meantime, note that you can still use Find Next / Find Previous after the search bar has closed -- so you can continue navigating through your search results at that point.

Recently switched from Coda to Edge Code for daily work. Love the extensions and am happy with the way I've configured my editor ;-)

However, i do find the search feature annoying b/c it empties my search terms as soon as I leave the input field and focus on another text item. I wish it would keep the terms until I expressly clear them.

I also wish I could find and replace across multiple documents within same project folder. This feature was a real time saver in Coda and I would like to have it in Edge Code. Are there any plans to add this in future builds? If not, is there an extension that does this?
