Though I had a tough time locating it before, I think I did find a page where it appears to be available as a stand alone. Not sure if it will allow you to follow through on the purchase considering the end is near for FW:

I absolutely refuse to use cloud services.You just lost a sale to a competitor. Adobe i expect better from you.

CS5 was available as a stand alone app, and you can probably find a used version out there. CS6 is only available as part of the CC deal, and it's more buggy and unsupported.

In the online order form Fireworks does not appear as a single app. How can it be purchased then? Is it part of the photography bundle or do you need to go for the complete offer? Or is Fireworks still sold outside the creative cloud. The website is very unclear about the bundles that contain Fireworks!
