Hi there,

1. The account that has API permissions is the username and password. SiteID is under the > Settings > API in the admin.

2. You use another api endpoint to check if email exists, if not then add it in using that api endpoint.

I need to start by saying I know NOTHING about API / 3rd party integration.

Is it possible to update or add a new CRM customer from with the API?

I gave my contact at the 3rd party i'm working with a link to the API documentation and he responded with the following.

"I do not see anything to create a contact. The only thing that is close is ContactList_UpdateInsert web service. I want to try this one to see if it will add a contact if it does not already exist. For me to try this, I will need the web service username, password, and siteId"

This leaves me with two questions.

Where do i find the web service username, password, and siteId?
Is what i'm trying to do with customers possible?

Any help would be great!
