Yes, please locate the templates. I'm looking for the after effects expression templates that were once found under the adobe exchange hyper link but are no longer there.

FYI...

The help page link (After Effects Help | Projects) from my initial post targets the following section:.

Template projects and example projects

A template project is a file with the filename extension .aet. You can use the many template projects included with After Effects including DVD menu templates as the basis for your own projects, and you can create new templates base on your projects etc.,...

This section contains a sub-link to a page describing the origin of the 'Template Projects'....

There is also a sub-link to a Creative Cow video describing the default location and usage of the 'Template Projects' ...

What appears to have happened here is links to 'Template Projects' that were once hosted at After Effects Exchange are now being redirected to the Add-ons site. Unfortunately, these valuable learning tools for newcomers to After Effects CS6 (such as myself) have been lost in the transition.

I will try the After Effects forum as well but would appreciate if you could pass the need to repair this break in the communication chain on to your respective colleagues.../John

Hi John,

I cannot find anything about templates on the help page you provided a link to. Can you please add your question on the After Effects forum so that someone from the After Effects team can respond. I will try to get hold of someone on the After Effects team to see where these resources are and if they are still available anywhere or not but posting to their After Effects forum may be quicker.
