There is a conflict between the two apps that causes this behavior. If so, shut down Spotify and then try to use the tool again in FW.       <title>How can I fix my pen tool (CS6)?</title>

It will not let me click on the document then click again to create paths. This is very annoying because it basically makes most of the functionality of the pen tool useless. What can I do to fix this? I have tried googling and not yet found an answer. I am using the CS6 version of Fireworks.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p style="min-height: 8pt; padding: 0px;"&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;I restored the preferences in fireworks to the default and the problem is persisting.
