(Quiz Results slide) Also if the student doesn't want to retake the quiz and clicks the Continue button which i can't seem to modify, how do I get it to go to the Survey intro instead to the final course slide? And at the final survey slide, how to skip the Results slide and go to the final slide?

I’m in Captivate 8.

It seems what I need is to set the last real test slide to jump to the Results slide which includes the Retake Quiz button and that jumps back to the 1^st question –which I’ve done. Upon taking the quiz again at the last question slide and before the survey questions, it goes back to the Results slide again to get the 2^nd score – which it does.

No advanced actions yet. Now it needs to jump from the 2^nd time in the Results slide to the survey questions intro slide – from there to continue but to hide the Results slide OR on the last survey slide to jump to the final course slide (but On Exit: is gray – can’t select that – and it appears Jump to Slide would not be an option anyway if On Enter: is any indication).

How do I write the advanced action to go from the 2^nd time in the Results slide to the 1^st survey question? What I’m doing is not working.

Survey questions normally will not show up in the score result, since there is no score. However some quizzing system variables do take into account all scored objects (number of questions is one example) which is annoying.

You can create a custom score slide. Have a look at: Intermediate Score Slides - Captivate blog

That post has a different goal, but you'll see several custom score slides.

Hi all!

My course has several practice ungraded questions, a real test (9 graded questions), and an "after course" reportable survey (8 questions). I want students to be able to retake the quiz once. The Quiz Results slide now automatically appears after the survey. I want to show quiz results and put the retake quiz button on a custom quiz results slide after the test but before the survey so students don't go thru the survey before they see how they did. I want students to get the opportunity to retake the quiz just after having taken it - and not after having taken the survey. And I don't want survey question info to show up on the "real" quiz results slide - makes no sense to the students. I also want to report student success in terms of percentage completed on the test - not just in points scored.

Please help. How do I do this? I'm in Captivate 8.
