It is a bug in animate 2014.1. We are working on a fix to it. Meanwhile, for time being you may explicitly activate the audio control through code. ( stage composition ready event)

We have tried with few legacy compositions containing audio and there are no problems with upgrade. Can you please share your composition?..That'll help us.

Apparently the problem is when I open a previous file and it is saved as an upgrade. If I create a new file entirely and redo everything then the bar works. So I guess this will be an issue with all upgraded files. I will test some other files shortly.

Is it specific to this content or is it that audio bar is not shown at all in preview for any content?

Just wondering - I really need this to work. The audio is set to visible. Tested in FF, Chrome and Safari on Windows.
