Yes, I have done that. It doesn´t help. The pause is not way off, but if I had used an animation that is faster, it would´ve be impossible to work with it in the manner that I did here. Which is a big draw back.

Have you tried using the Timeline Zooming slider feature (lower right) to help 'peg' the exact location you are looking for?

This is two screendumps from two previews in a row which I just did. Notice the difference? The movie in the left screendump has jumped one or two frames from the set pause. This problem makes me unable to work with exact placings which is a big deal for me.

I do not see any black screen, of sorts - I scrubbed through and played it a few times. But it appears to run through as it should.

Heathrowe, did you (or anyone else) manage to see what the problems were?

If you couldn´t, I have to live with that, but I would appreciate if you could tell me even if you did not find anything.

Two questions:

1. Why does the movie screen sometimes turn black when scrolling the timeline with movie autoplay on?

2. Why doesn´t the movie stop on the exact same movie frame everytime, and not always on the set pause?

Sometimes the movie frame turns black, sometimes it doesn´t, and sometimes it makes Edge freeze on startup.

Now the whole project freezes on start-up. I don´t have the last update, so those errors probably shouldn´t affect this.

This problem is so bad now that it keeps happening after having reloaded several times and restarted both Edge and my computer. I´ve been working with this project for three days. There was no problem up untill today with the black movie screen, but it has happened before with other projects, but not like this. It seems the whole project is going in the trash because of this.

Edge staff, I NEED a solution this time. I´m paying for all these stupid bugs and errors.

This happens quite often for me. It seems to happen if a movie is set to autoplay and you drag the timeline. The frame just goes black and I can´t make it show correct again without quitting and loading. Usually it keeps happening even after loading.
