Hallo,

vielen Dank für Ihre Mühe. Sie hatten Recht. Auch wenn ich die Dateien in .mov umbenenne, ergibt es keine Änderung. Ich habe nun das Programm Xmedia Recode heruntergeladen. Nun wandle ich erneut alle meine Video-Dateien in mp4-Dateien um. ----- und diese Dateien kann ich problemlos importieren und bearbeiten. Nochmals Vielen Dank

I can get you a file that you can get into the Elements Organizer 12 and also import (with no flaws) into the Premiere Elements 12 Editor. But, it comes

with some workarounds...

1. Your original MPEG2.ts should be fully compatible with the Premiere Elements 12 Editor. But, I cannot take a MPEG2.ts into my Elements Organizer 12.

For that matter, I am finding a problem bringing any MPEG2 file into the Elements Organizer 12 whereas I am not having that problem with Elements Organizer 11, 10, or 9.

Solution 1. Just import the MPEG2.ts into Premiere Elements 12 Editor for your project there. No Elements Organizer thoughts.

2. I have found that I can produced a very good quality AVCHD.mp4 from the MPEG2.ts using Movie Maker 2012 in Windows 7, 8, or 8.1 64 bit.

I find that I can take this AVCHD.mp4 into Premiere Elements 12 with no problems. However I cannot take this AVCHD.mp4 into

Premiere Elements 12 Editor UNLESS I rename the file extension from .mp4 to .mov.

Solution 2. For goals in Premiere Elements 12 Editor and Elements Organizer 12, convert your .ts to .mp4 with Movie Maker 2012, change the name of the file extension from .mp4 to .mov, and then import the .mov into either Premiere Elements 12 or Elements Organizer 12 or both without problems.

3. Perhaps a step could be eliminated by converting the .ts to .mov directly with a program such as MPEG Streamclip.

Elements Organizer 12 problems appear to go beyond the excuses of missing codecs. Still considering what to do with Elements Organizer 12 in

general. My old standby troubleshooting of deleting its settings file and creating a new catalog are not working...as well as the maneuver to rename

file extensions involved and right click the Elements Organizer thumbnail and select Update Thumbnail.

Please review and consider the above, and then let me know if any of the above worked for you.

Right now I am looking at your VLC ts to .mp4 conversion to try to determine what happened to you with it.

Add On...No matter what I do with your VLC H.264.mp4...the file imports into Premiere Elements 12 Edit with green or green cast video. I suspect

the problem is in the video codec that is being used. Changing the file extension from .mp4 to .mov here does not change the situation.

Ich habe meine alten Super-8-Filme und andere mit einer analogen Videokamera gefilmt. Diese Filme habe ich mit "Magix - retten sie ihre Videos" - ich denke ein Video-Grabber - auf meinen Computer gespielt.

Dateiname 1978-1-Composite_20120917_1952, Video: Größe 1,02 Gigabyte, Länge 16`62 sec, Bildbreite 720mm, Bildlänge 576 mm, Datenrate 8500 kBit/sec, Gesamtbitrate 8628 kBit/sec, Einzelbildrate 25 Einzelbilder/sec, Audio: Bitrate 128/sec, Kanäle 2 (Stereo), Abtastrate 48 KH

Datei-Typ: MPEG-2 TS-Video (.ts) bei Öffnen mit Windows Media Player oder VLC media file (.ts)

Diese Videos wurden im Premiere Organiser nicht angezeigt. Ich konnte sie nicht importieren.

Deshalb habe ich sie mit VLC-Player konvertiert. VLC-Player war ja schon installiert. Warum nicht in mp4.

Jetzt Datei-Typ: VLC media file (.mp4)(.mp4),

Video und Audio Kompression: Ich weiß nicht, wo ich das sehen könnte.

Jetzt kann ich die Videos in den Organiser und in meinen Katalog importieren und auch betrachten. Wenn ich aber diese Filme in Premiere Elements bearbeiten will oder in ein Projekt einfügen will, sehe ich nur grünes Flackern. Bei genauem Betrachten kann man Strukturen erkennen, wie wenn der Filminhalt verzerrt gespielt wird. Man erkennt also eine Person vielfach über das ganze Sichtfenster verteilt. Und alles in grünem Flackern.

Was soll ich also tun??

Recent versions of Premiere Elements do support files with the .ts file extension. So, I would ask "What version of Premiere Elements are you using and on what computer operating system is it running?

We would need more details of the properties of the files that you are trying to import into Premiere Elements. "MP4" is just a wrapper/container format represented in that file extension. We need to know the video and audio compressions that are wrapped by this MP4 container/wrapper format.

Depending on the answers to the above, we need to know

a. why is it necessary to convert .ts to mp4 with the VLC player

b. what the properties are for this VLC player generated .mp4

c. details of your import of the .mp4 into Premiere Elements Editor

SOS, Leute. Da Premiere Elements meine .ts-Dateien nicht unterstützt, habe im dem vlc-Player alle Videos in .mp4-Videos konvertiert. Jetzt kann ich si e im Organiser aufnehme und betrachten, aber wenn ich sie in Premiere Elemets bearbeiten will oder in ein Projekt einbinden will, sehe ich (ohne Fehlermeldung) nur grünes Flackern über die gesamte Länge des Videos. was mache ich falsch??
