I also seem to be having issues. Despite following the lessons step by step as instructed it doesn't work, this is becoming extremely frustrating as I can't learn any of this if it doesn't work.

When will the update be ready as I kinda need it for a client project coming up.

@ErsSup: You can download and install previous versions from here. Choose your preferred version in the dropdown menu. I wouldn't go all the way back to pre-cc versions. EA2014 ran fine, it was the 2014.1 update that messed everything up.

I would use the Creative Cloud Cleaner Tool I posted about earlier to delete your current EA version before installing a previous version.

Theres no guarantee that it works but it doesn't hurt to try.

I really hope they roll out a fix soon.

@Kirchgässner: Its not optimal, thats for sure. But the previous 2014 build is almost the same. The biggest issue is the fact that you can't open 2014.1 compositions with it, as they are not backwards compatible.

Same here.

Can't delete keyframes, can't delete Transitions.

If the "thumb.db" in images Folder on windows updated and i press "update the content" in edge, all of my work and all of the changes in edge reseted to the last version of the Project.

What the hell, why needs Edge the "thumb.db"??

Most of the time get a "C++ error".

Thanks Adobe to be a part of your biggest BETA Testing Platform ever.

How can i install the non CC-Version?

Did you try removing An with the Creative Cloud Cleaner Tool before installing a previous An version?

As I said, it didn't work for me, but maybe it works for you?

Can you share more details on "Startup documents without error-messages"

Are you getting errors when you upgrade? If so, can you share more details on the error and if possible also share the Edge Animate project files so that we can repro it on our side?

I'm also having massive problems with the latest update. However, previous versions stopped working too, for some reason. I installed EA2014, 3.0 and 2.0 and none of them work anymore.

The Edge Animate twitter suggested deleting Edge Animate using the Creative Cloud Cleaner tool and then installing a previous version, but that didnt work either.

Hello there!

The Dev team is working hard to get an update ready for the next update where these problems will be corrected. Since you are experiencing so many problems, in the mean time you can use the previous version along side the 2014.1 version. I would not give up just yet.

Since the last update in october i havent been able to get anything working in Edge Animate:

I cant:

-Animate

-Show/hide elements

-Startup documents without error-messages

I'm out of here. Unless something happens. FAST...
