That will work, since button 1 is the default, default button.

The button that highlights when you enter a menu is the "default" button for that menu.

You can make it any button you want.

Be sure you are looking at the menu properties, not the button properties.

Don't know if this is the right answer but try and make the button you want highlit number one on that menu.

Hello everyone,

I have searched a lot, but can't figure out how can I set which button should be highlighted (not to be mistaken with auto-activate) when a menu is opened?

Encore always highlights a button of its choice and I can't control that. I am sure its a simple thing, but would really appreciate your help.
