Yes, I've been told to use my Apple password, but that doesn't work either.

Adobe does not require passwords for downloading/installing the Flash Player. It will be something related to your machine's security.

I tried that already, based on input from Adobe people. It didn't work either.

Apple computers ask for your System Password when installing new software. It's probably nothing to do with Adobe at all.

Try the system password you used when you first set up your Mac.

I've tried a million times to download the most recent version of Adobe FlashPlayer onto my MacOSX10.6.8. Adobe won't accept my password - and it's system for changing passwords goes no where. This is Kafka-esque!!!
