Thanks for the reply but it doesn't help. No matter what settings I try, as soon as I sync, the issue comes right back. I have tried syncing only the preferences and I have tried the options to sync local, sync cloud and sync latest file and no matter what, the issue keeps coming back.

Isn't there a way to either erase the cloud data or tell Illustrator to ignore what's on the cloud and overwrite it with what I check off and erase anything else?

Hi JimGoshorn,

Enable or disable Sync Settings

To choose what gets synchronized, do one of the following:
Navigate to Edit > {AdobeID logged in} > Manage Sync Settings.
Navigate to Edit (Mac: Illustrator) > Preferences > Sync Settings.
In the Sync Options area, from the Sync drop-down, select an option.

I have been having difficulty with colors matching in the panels (e.g. red looks brown) and after reading about another user who corrected his issue by creating another user account, I decided to try deleting the Illustrator 18 folders in the user preferences and application support areas. Lo and behold, the colors were correct.

Now the problem: As soon as I sync, whatever was causing the problem is placed back on my computer from the settings that were stored on the cloud and the colors are bad again. How do I keep the cloud settings from getting back onto my computer?
