Ooops...should say that the earliest version I have to check is CS6 (I never bothered with CS5.5...too many missing features) but I'd be surprised if this option wasn't included there as well.

Easy!

Go to the Edit/Prefereences menu, select "Playback" then put a tick in the "Return playhead to the start position on stop" box.

One thing that was simple in Audition 1.5 is driving me crazy in CS 5.5.

If I select a portion of audio and hit the space bar, it plays the selection and then stops. But if I press the space bar again, it plays from the end of the selection. I want to be able to play a selection repeatedly so I can listen to it critically. But I don't want it to loop; I want to have control over the playback. How can this be done?
