In CP8 however the shape buttons do pause by default as Rick shows (and I'm always replacing buttons by shape buttons) at 1.5secs. But you have to look at the timeline and check if this is the proper time to pause? To my knowledge, if you enabled the button function it *SHOULD* pause.
