The only major downside is that Brackets isn't available via the Creative Cloud app. We understand this isn't ideal but hopefully it's not a blocker to adopting Brackets. However, this comes as a big surprise to me. I was expecting Brackets to flow into Code, not the other way around. Code is seamlessly integrated into Creative Cloud thanks to the app name, to begin with, and the accessibility through the Creative Cloud status icon. We are not going to be doing another release of Edge Code, but it will still be available to Creative Cloud users. Instead we encourage you to start using Brackets which has more features and gets updated more often.
