Ah. In OS X you don't make any of those choices in the program's print window. When the OS X print window opens after you click Print in the PSE print window, click the Show Details button to expand it and you will find what you want in the pulldown menu in the middle of the page. The exact menu choices vary by printer and manufacturer, but that's where you find all the settings for color management, ink, paper, quality, etc.

I mean that my options screen when i select print only allows for generic paper, size and not much more. a photo option box would allow for choice of photo printing papers, standard or custom print sizes, sliders to adjust colors etc etc. the iMac people had me go into a search engine and print a google page which did offer me all of the photo options for printing that i speak of. so i know it’s not the mac interface with the printer that is the problem. i’m coming off a pc so the mac is very new and alien to me. i would love to cut and past what the window looks like that i do get for printing but not quite sure yet how to do that.

What do you mean? Can you post a screenshot of what you are seeing? Are you sure your printer driver is compatible with 10.10? Can you print from other programs?

i cannot not get interface with elements 13 to give me access to photo printing options. i can get options to print documents but not photos. i've checked drivers, the mac end of things. elements seems to be the problem
