Sorry you had to go through all the hassles, and yes I can't understand why the moderator didn't pass it along.

Anyways, my message was passed along to the right people and they have a new file which has either been uploaded already or will be shortly.

I originally posted the error in the comments on the dev article page, but it was removed and a moderator emailed me to post here or open up a Customer Support ticket. Would have been easier for the moderator to just notify the web team.

I can confirm.

Vista's file viewer/internal decompession tool complains. 7-zip complains.

The page you link to says "prototype_air_fw.zip (ZIP, 3 MB)," but the file size on my disk is 2.1MB.

Can anyone else confirm this.

Prototyping AIR applications with Fireworks

On the first page, sample zip download does not de-compress. Tells me it is corrupt or the wrong type of document.
