I have tried it around a shape and it’s pretty cool but I don’t do a great deal of compositing using text in that way.

At least Adobe appear to have been listening to my complaints and have sorted out the tag icons on the thumbnails. All are now showing up correctly in the Organizer whereas in PSE9 everything was given an orange tag.

The PSE10 trial is now available for download. Use it free for 30 days to test compatibility with your PC and to try the new features. It’s certainly worth considering the bundle PSE10 & PRE10 which is very favorably priced. The two applications seamlessly integrate although organizer becomes a source choice under the new Projects tab rather than a top-level tab, as in PRE9. There are some interesting new video features - even for bringing your stills to life.

New color correction tools make it possible to enhance video clips, just like photos.

It’s also possible to burn HD quality movies to both Blu-ray disc and onto standard DVD’s. PRE10 is Adobe’s first consumer package with 64 bit support for enhanced performance (Windows 7 only)

Mac users were first introduced to PRE9 and can now use SmartSound® to add a variety of royalty free music soundtracks that automatically adjust to perfectly match the length of their movies.
