Acquistai, a suo tempo, l'aggiornamento del programma Adobe Audition CS6, essendo già in possesso della versione CS5.5. Poichè ho dovuto rifare il sistema operativo (windows 7 professional a 64 bit), reistallando il programma CS6, con il relativo serial number in mio possesso, ho notato un mal funzionamento e cioè:

importando un motivo musicale e avviando il programma, cliccando su play, non mi riproduce nessun motivo o canzone pur essendo in funzione.

Ho reinstallato il programma,ma senza risultato alcuno. Cosa devo fare? Grazie.

It will not install for me. Win7 x64. Crashes after startup every single time.

That's my hope aswell. I'm obviously just guessing here, but the feature likely works by identifying phonemes in the frequency domain, essentially marking "blobs" in the guide track, and then moving the corresponding blobs in the target track(s). If that's the case, then the tonality shouldn't matter, and you'd have VocAlign functionality in Audition. Big win.

I'm also secretly wishing that something cool will happen if you try and align, say, a vocal track to a drum beat... =)

It's looking really good , but I'm not sold yet. Have a list of "hope to see's" like an MT view grid and control surface support. But I'm excited by what I have seen so far.

I wonder if the Auto Speech Align tool can be used to sync Harmony vocals to a Lead vocal much in the way I use VocAlign stand-alone software.

That makes 4 wows (5 if you count this one).

Looking closely at that clip I see lots of new buttons, new menu items in the pop-up menu and white triangles in the top corners of the clips - looking forward to more sneak peek videos please.

Well, I'm still on AA3 which has MIDI...and I've never once used it in the 4 years I've been on that version.

However, the lip syncing would have been a godsend in the mix I was doing today even though it wasn't video. I had two vocals done at different times and the person who recorded it didn't notice they kept slipping out of time with each other. If it works as well as the demo, it could have saved me a day of slipping and sliding tracks!

I'm a long-time AA user with CE/CEP still installed on one of my computers, using AA3 every day for audio production, but I'm buying CS6 first day of release - from the hints being passed along I think Adobe has done it right. My hope is it will leap to the front like CE was in its day.

Why would you assume that they are related? Cool Edit had a metronome way before any MIDI capability came along - this is merely a restoration of a previous long-standing feature...
