Vector Shape Operation Quirks

I have read others with some similar issues, so I will not attempt to repeat any of those.

1. Path Selection Tool (or any of the Vector Tools): Should have the same Ctrl/Command Click to document for multi-select operations that the Move Tool has.

I currently have to do this operation via the Layers Panel or revert to the Move Tool (though would rather avoid, since I am already with an active Vector Tool)

2. Path Selection Tool active (or any of the Vector Tools): Selecting multiple Vector Shape Layers via the Layers Panel (Ctrl/Command Click) I should have the ability to Align (Options Bar). They are disabled, YET the Align to Selection/Canvas options are enabled. I realize that all the Options are available for single Layer mult-path Shapes bubt it would good to have the Align options without having to switch tools.
