      <title>How to download Adobe connect recorded meeting?</title>

      <title>How can I get my web cam to work in Adobe Connect ?</title>

      <description>&lt;!-- [DocumentBodyStart:d62a5e94-a51c-4456-aea8-5913f9989e78] --&gt;&lt;div class="jive-rendered-content"&gt;&lt;p&gt;This is actually an end user's question that I am having trouble answering to...&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;We use Adobe Connect to give online language classes, the end user is one of the students.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;I cannot find the right Support answer to give him.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p style="min-height: 8pt; padding: 0px;"&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Problem: &lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;My camera does not work when I connect to Adobe's rooms but camera works fine with other software.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p style="min-height: 8pt; padding: 0px;"&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Even though I suspected my old camera was working fine, yesterday I went ahead and bought a new camera.&amp;nbsp; &lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;I thought perhaps my webcam software may have been a problem, so I bought a different type camera with different software.&amp;nbsp; &lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Even after removing all the old software, same result:&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp; &lt;/p&gt;&lt;p style="min-height: 8pt; padding: 0px;"&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt; I surmised the problem might be caused by my firewall and security software, so once I tried changing the permissions for Adobe, and my Webcam, but that didn&amp;#8217;t work.&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp; &lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Another time, I restarted my computer right before class and then turned off my firewall completely so there would be no interference but to no avail. I&amp;#8217;m totally perplexed.&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp; &lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Isn&amp;#8217;t there anyone else experiencing a similar problem?&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp; Has anyone else found a solution?&amp;nbsp; &lt;/p&gt;&lt;p style="min-height: 8pt; padding: 0px;"&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;I run Windows Vista with McAfee Internet Security Software.&amp;nbsp; I always reboot the computer before class and open no other programs other than Google Chrome.&amp;nbsp; &lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;I now have a brand new Microsoft LifeCam Cinema Camera with LifeCam 3.5 Webcam Software.&amp;nbsp; &lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;I test my camera before going online.&amp;nbsp; It always works fine.&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp; Then I shut down the camera program and login into class.&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp; &lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;When I &amp;#8220;connect webcam&amp;rdquo; in the room, the light on my camera comes on (suggesting that it is ON), but only a black image is transmitted to the room.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;!-- [DocumentBodyEnd:d62a5e94-a51c-4456-aea8-5913f9989e78] --&gt;</description>

      <title>Can not share desktop with Adobe Connect</title>

But it didn't work. &lt;span aria-label="Plain" class="emoticon-inline emoticon_plain" style="height:16px;width:16px;"&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br/&gt;I can share Document/Whiteboard.&lt;br/&gt;But when I try to share whole desktop, addin launches, but simply remains white with the text: "Loading Adobe Connect...".       <description>&lt;!-- [DocumentBodyStart:f29e12ac-f165-497b-b08e-b755f7d86b47] --&gt;&lt;div class="jive-rendered-content"&gt;&lt;p&gt;I am a math teacher in a synchronous online environment, coming to Adobe Connect from Wimba.&amp;nbsp; I am using a WIN 7 PC with the Bamboo Dock software and Wacom Bamboo CTL-470 tablet/stylus combo.&amp;nbsp; Last year's experience in Wimba was less than ideal, but fully functional.&amp;nbsp; Now my school has transitioned to Adobe Connect.&amp;nbsp; When I attempt to write on the whiteboard or annotate a PowerPoint slide, the first "x"percent of each stroke is not visible, as if the stroke is being monitored, but no "ink" is being deposited on the screen, then the last "y" percent of the stroke is "written."&amp;nbsp; I hope my screenshot will illustrate...&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p style="min-height: 8pt; padding: 0px;"&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;&lt;a href="https://forums.adobe.com/servlet/JiveServlet/showImage/2-5618051-379530/Bamboo_problem.png"&gt;&lt;img alt="Bamboo_problem.png" class="jive-image jive-image-thumbnail" height="226" src="https://forums.adobe.com/servlet/JiveServlet/downloadImage/2-5618051-379530/450-226/Bamboo_problem.png" width="450"/&gt;&lt;/a&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p style="min-height: 8pt; padding: 0px;"&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;As I hope you can see, the beginning of each stroke is missing. (I wrote that at normal speed, like I would while teaching.)&amp;nbsp; Again, it worked fine in Wimba.&amp;nbsp; Also, drawing with the mouse does NOT have this problem.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p style="min-height: 8pt; padding: 0px;"&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;The problem appears to be time vs length of stroke dependent, meaning if I write VERY VERY slowly, the missing part of the stroke is quite small. But I would have to write too slowly for a live classroom to make this work.&amp;nbsp; As another workaround, if I simply delay moving the stylus until it is "ready" to write, it thinks I am trying to right click, which I sometimes need to be able to do (so I can't turn off that setting).&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p style="min-height: 8pt; padding: 0px;"&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Any suggestions?&amp;nbsp; (Finding something via Google, I already disabled the Tablet PC Input service via services.msc without seeing any change.)&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p style="min-height: 8pt; padding: 0px;"&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Thanks in advance!!&lt;/p&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;!-- [DocumentBodyEnd:f29e12ac-f165-497b-b08e-b755f7d86b47] --&gt;</description>

Can anyone recommend a good wmv &amp;gt; flv converter?&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p style="min-height: 8pt; padding: 0px;"&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;I have tried one online application, but I then couldn't import the FLV file into powerpoint.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p style="min-height: 8pt; padding: 0px;"&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;I have also tried converting the whole ppt to SWF.       <description>&lt;!-- [DocumentBodyStart:47994b0c-eae0-456a-a410-11478609e86f] --&gt;&lt;div class="jive-rendered-content"&gt;&lt;p&gt;Hello, I try the html5 publication... and I notice some problem in the output files.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p style="min-height: 8pt; padding: 0px;"&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;&lt;span style="font-size: 12pt;"&gt;1&lt;/span&gt;-&lt;/strong&gt;The logo I use for the Presenter information is 148 x 52 pixel.&amp;nbsp; It works well with the old Presenter version... but in the html5 publication, the size is not the same as in SWF.&amp;nbsp; On the computer the logo appears smaller and on the tablet it appears in another proportion.&amp;nbsp; That's weird !!!&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p style="min-height: 8pt; padding: 0px;"&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;&lt;span style="font-size: 12pt;"&gt;2&lt;/span&gt;-&lt;/strong&gt;Even if I select a theme without the notes of the Powerpoint, in html5 publication the appears if I click to see the notes (CC).&amp;nbsp; In SWF, the notes doesn't appears if I choose a theme without the notes.&amp;nbsp; &lt;strong&gt;How to hide the notes in html5 publication ?&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p style="min-height: 8pt; padding: 0px;"&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;&lt;span style="font-size: 12pt;"&gt;3&lt;/span&gt;-&lt;/strong&gt;I have an audio problem on the first slide.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp; In SWF publication, the audio begin at 2sec and end &amp;agrave; 5sec the presentation pass to the second slide at 6 sec.&amp;nbsp; That's what it's suppose to be... As a small white frame.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Right clicking in it gives the message "movie not loaded..."&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p style="min-height: 8pt; padding: 0px;"&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;I've tried both FF and IE. upgraded flash without any effect. Reboot didn't fix it either.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;I have not installed any new graphics drivers since this probem occured.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p style="min-height: 8pt; padding: 0px;"&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;One of my class mates also got this problem just yesterday. We've come to find out that this occurs mainly for 3 reasons:&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p style="min-height: 8pt; padding: 0px;"&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;ul&gt;&lt;li style="text-align: start;"&gt;Students need to update to the latest version of Flash Player especially if they have the Lion OS.&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li style="text-align: start;"&gt;Students need to switch from a firewall restricted wireless connection to a wired connection.&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li style="text-align: start;"&gt;Students are experiencing this problem on a Mac while using a USB headset.&lt;/li&gt;&lt;/ul&gt;&lt;p style="min-height: 8pt; padding: 0px;"&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p style="text-align: start;"&gt;We have not been able to find a solution to the 3rd problem and I haven't seen anyone post it in the forum. We don't believe this problem is related to Flash since students are able to play other Flash related files with audio without any problems. Has anyone ever experienced this problem and know if it's related to Presenter and if there's a fix for it? Would&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;you like to install it now?&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p style="min-height: 8pt; padding: 0px;"&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;At that point, those buttons are dead. I tried tabbing through the buttons to select the Yes button and then pressing Space but that has no effect either. Tabbing does work to highlight the buttons, the "?" and the overal dialog but once the Yes or No button is highlighted there seems to be no way to select any of the buttons.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p style="min-height: 8pt; padding: 0px;"&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;I can right-click on the dialog and I get the&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p style="min-height: 8pt; padding: 0px;"&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Settings&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;About Adobe Flash Player 10&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p style="min-height: 8pt; padding: 0px;"&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;menu. Settings is diabled but I can choose About which shows that I have FP 10.0.42.34 installed. Other than that, at this point, there's nothing I can do in the meeting room window except to exit.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p style="min-height: 8pt; padding: 0px;"&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;This happens in both Firefox 3.6 and Internet Explorer 8 on Windows 7. If this problem persists, reinstall this product and try again."&lt;/p&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p style="min-height: 8pt; padding: 0px;"&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;The registration page pops up but just briefly--too fast to click the accept/decline buttons. I have tried deleting the Office and Adobe preference files under User as well as uninstalling/reinstalling but the error message persists making presenter unusable. Has anyone managed to do this with Presenter 10 because you cannot do this by uploading to a Connect Meeting directly. Adobe tell me that I need to buy Presenter 10.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p style="min-height: 8pt; padding: 0px;"&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;The problem I find, apart from some really irritating permission errors with Presenter 10 that often means the project fails to be published to Connect, is that the desktop version of Connect uses Flash and does not support HTML5. The mobile client does not support MP4(!). You have to use FLV video to work in both, but Powerpoint does not support this. Also Media Encoder 2014 does not support FLV so you have to use an earlier version.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p style="min-height: 8pt; padding: 0px;"&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;So unless I am missing something the only way to get video to work on both platforms is to remove it from the PPT/PPTX, convert to FLV and then add the FLVs to a separate pod. The permissions are set for public viewing, however anytime a user attempts to view the presentation they receive an error message of "Connect session has timed out".. &lt;/p&gt;&lt;p style="min-height: 8pt; padding: 0px;"&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Clicking the Login button does nothing. (Besides the fact that they should not be required to login anyway.)&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p style="min-height: 8pt; padding: 0px;"&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;I've attempted to publish directly to Adobe Connect from Presenter and I've also attempted uploading it to Connect as a .zip presentation.       <title>Adobe Presenter 8 won't publish correctly</title>

The size of the pdf appears like more should be there, but that is all that is showing on my screen.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p style="min-height: 8pt; padding: 0px;"&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;I was working fine in AP 8, upgraded to AP 9. Went to publish and the NOTES would not show in the sidebar, neither would contact link and information. That all worked fine in AP 8. So I uninstalled 9, reinstalled 8 and now I can't even get it to publish to see if the NOTES would show.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p style="min-height: 8pt; padding: 0px;"&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Can anyone direct me how to fix this?&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p style="min-height: 8pt; padding: 0px;"&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Thanks.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;!-- [DocumentBodyEnd:1d9e7d39-bd14-4459-826e-a6c92cb6667d] --&gt;</description>
