Installation Problem Captivate 8 Mac

I have been trying to install CP8 for the last 2 days and I keep getting this fail response. There isn't anything else to let me know how to troubleshoot. I am a Cloud subscriber and I have previous versions of Captivate on my computer because my clients never upgrade. This seems to happen every time a new version comes out and I don't know where to submit a support ticket. Any ideas?

Is there a way to Install Captivate 8 without having to log on using an Adobe ID? We need to automate the install on multiple computers.

We are a small IT department that needs to do multiple installs of software on multiple computers. Having to input an Adobe ID for the install is a hindrance.

How can I download Creative Cloud Packager without a cc account?

We have a volume license for software such as captivate and others that can be packaged with the creative cloud packager, but do not actually have a create cloud account.

From what I can find it says to login to the licensing portal and we should be able to download it. I am unable to find any link or download to the packager. I am able to download our volume licenses and software installs but not the packager.

I am installing Lightroom 5 on another computer. I have it activated on one already and the serial worked fine. Now on the second computer it is telling me the serial is invalid when it is obviously not. I need to install this on my desktop asap and I am not able to call 800 numbers where I am and the chat isn't working. What the hell Adobe.

Captivate 6, Text-To-Speech: No German voice?!?

My company just bought the upgrade from Captivate 5.5 to Captivate 6. After installing Captivate 6 as well as the additional speech package there is no German voice ("Stefan") available anymore in the "Speech Agent" droplist ("Speech Management" dialog)!?

This function is crucial for us since all our software demos are published in German and English.

Is there another speech package I have to install or what can I do?

The first line of the error log seems to hint at unmet requirements, but the laptop I'm trying to install Cpativate in is a Windows 7 64 bits machine with 4Gb or RAM and plenty of disk space (well above 20Gb).

Can someone please help me? I've been waiting for CP5 for ages!

Remove all Captivate 5 traces (OSX)

I was using the Captivate 5 trial. Now i got my license number, but it's for Captivate 5.5

I made the classical mistake of dragging Captivate 5 from the Applications folder to the Trashcan and empty-ing it and then installing Captivate 5.5

Now Adobe Updater wants to update my Captivate 5 to 5.02, but obviously, Captivate 5 doesn't exist anymore so the update fails.

I don't have the original .dmg and i cannot find it anywhere on the Adobe website anymore so i cannot re-install 5 and uninstall using the correct procedure. Now, how do i clean my Mac from any Captivate 5 traces so that when i install 5.5 again, Updater doesn't want to update 5?

I just got my laptop repair so I lost everything on my computer. Anyway I got my adobe CS6 master collection from my school full sail university and i lost my serial number for my abode CS6 master collection and I don't know how i'm suppose to get another and I follow all the support had provided but it didn't help because I don't have the redem code either. so anyone can help me that be a big help and if you go to same school me and have the number for it be real help that you very much.

I am looking to install NeoSpeech with System Center onto Captivate 8.

I have already packaged the Captivate 8 and it installs successfully.

I tried to run the neospeech setup.exe --mode=silent but nothing installs. I read that for Captivate 7 you need to create an update package, I tried to do this, but when I pointed it at the ZIP files I was told they were invalid.

Have I to create xml install files ? I see there is one under the payloads directory, and one under packages.

Please help.

I want to use Captivate 7 at work and when working from home - do I need to buy 1 or 2 licenses? I did see that the Adobe license agreement in general allows for 2 computers - but it was not clear if that was applicable to Captivate 7.

Also, I generally do not use internet on my home computer - how often do I need to log in to the internet to ensure I have access to the application?

I am currently using Captivate 5. I'd like to upgrade to Captivate 6, but I have one large project that is nearly done in Captivate 5 -- we just need to add the audio (narration and background music).

Is it possible to upgrade to Captivate 6 but also keep Captivate 5 on my PC, so that I could finish the online course in Captivate 5 (i.e., the same version that I used to develop it)?

Another related question would be: Is is possible to open a Captivate 5-developed course in Captivate 6 with minimal problems?

I have both Captivate 7 and Captivate 8 installed in my machine. I need them both currently. NeoSpeech was alreday installed for Captivate 7 and it works all fine. I am trying to install cs2 (reinstalling). I click the disk 1 exe file with no prob, but when it says to insert disk 2, I click the exe file and it doesn't respond. I tried burning a cd and then insert the disk as prompted and still no results.

I have a creative cloud membership ( educational) one of the apps I need to learn is Captivate and in my CC icon on my desktop I do not see a link to download it. I read it is 19.99 per month and I already have a CC membership so is Captivate an additional 19.99 per month?

Hello,

I work for a big company. I'm a software packager/deployer. I am having big issues with this product. What i want to do is very simple : I want a completely silent installation for my users that they will license themselves. We use individual licenses in this case because we don't have a big enough user base for this product.

I can't seem to be able to do this with Creative Cloud Packager. It does not appear in the list of available software. We cannot ask the users to go through the complicated registration with adobe ID etc etc, too much user interaction = helpdesk calls.

What are my options? Can anyone help me?

Hi, I have a problem using Adobe Captivate 7.

I have the license for full version of Captivate 7

I first downloaded the software from Adobe website (Win 7, 32bit version of Captivate 7), under the my account, and once it was completed, I installed it.

Very first time I installed it, it asked for User Name and Serial number.

At this point, I put the my computer name in User Name and the license number.

Program installed fine but when I ran, it asked me to Sign In. So I signed in using adobe account, and the program would start but under Help, it would still say Sign In or doesn't say anywhere that program is activated or licensed.

Everytime I launch the program, the Sign In window keeps popping up and says I have 7 days remaining untill it expire.

Now I uninstalled the program and reinstalled it but when I reinstall it, it does not ask me for User Name, but only ask me to sign in and put the serial number. No place to put User Name anymore.

When installed, it would still ask me to Sign In, but this time, program would not even start.

I am thinking when I put my computer name in User Name in the very first time I installed this program, this linked my license to the computer name instead of linking it to my adobe account.

Is there any way to reset/unlink this so that I can do the fresh install with correct user account?

I have started a new job this week, and Adobe Captivate 5.5 was supposed to have been purchased for me.

However, after IT set up my machine, I have discovered that I have Captivate 6.

The rest of my team uses Captivate 5.5, and that's really what I need as well.

Will my serial number work with Captivate 5.5, and where can I find the download files for 5.5?

I had installed Adobe Captivate CS4 previously. .For some reason, I used Adobe CS4 cleanup tool..and it removed captivate installers..and I was not able to uninstall captivate CS4 thro' Add/remove programs and removed Captivate using revo uninstaller.. Now if I try to install Captivate CS4 the installer is stuck at 90% checking system profile..Please help!!

P.S tried all the possible methods including all the methods listed in the KB atricle
