Disabling Fill & Sign from automatically opening

According to the 11.0.09 updates, Reader will automatically open the Fill & Sign pane when fields are present. I do not like this new default feature and have not found an easy option for disabling.

From the update page, it looks like I should be able to edit my registry to completely disable that pane from the user interface. While completely disabling is not ideal, I find it better to the alternative of always having it pop up.

However, when navigating to the following registry path:

HKLM’s cServices\bEnableSignPane set to 0 removes the Fill & Sign Pane from the user interface. (full path being HKLM\Software\Policies\Adobe\Acrobat Reader\11.0\FeatureLockDown\)

I do not see a cServices folder. I've run a search on my entire registry and cannot find where this folder nor its key is held. The only subfolders all begin with cDefault...

How can I disable this setting? And is there a plan to give the end user the option to disable this pane from automatically popping up in the future?

PDF Forms issue

When I complete a rental doc in PDF Forms and then send it as a Flattened Copy it does not send the figures I type in. Any ideas?

I filled in the info, saved it to Acrobat.com. Can see the entries that I made as I hover over each box, but then it disappears again behind blue. Go to print... no entries print!

My boss has asked me to research legally valid electronic signatures. I was wondering if Adobe provided these so they can be used to sign certain documents for business and banking?

I have made changes in a document, trying to print. Part is printing and other part is coming blank. It all shows on the document. Why only part is printing? This is a document I downloaded and used Adobe to type in changes(fill in blanks). Also purchased upgrade to move file and try printing there. It says I need to purchase upgrade still. I have received email verification that upgrade was successful. Why is it saying need to upgrade? Tried to update currant upgrade, says I don't have upgrade. Why?

I've just payed for a $12.99 per month subscription and whatever I try and do it keeps asking me to subscribe? All I want to do is fill out a form!! Someone please tell me what I'm doing wrong??

Add Signature with logon script?

Hi All,

Is it possible to add a signature by a logon script to a user? I would like to do this as I have over 80 users and going to each individual is becoming a pain. I also don't want them to know there the logos are as they could sign it fraudulently.

I tried to cancel my subscription from Adobe. I was signed up using another website as i was trying to download a book and it took me to Adobe where I had to sign up. And of course it bills annually.

It is hard to find how to cancel but when I finally did it suggests you can get a full refund if you go to Customer Support. A

And where is it? Of course you cant find Customer Support can you?

I think that you guys need to fix your act. Adobe is just a rip off.

I have paid for previous help which never came also for being able to edit documents.

I am unable to send a PDF file through normal means, every time I try I get a error message saying I have to use the "email submit" button or the document will send blank. I am unable to locate such a button on this document and do not know what to do.

data entry sheet separate from fillable pdf documents

I have a data sheet that I want to keep separate from a set of fillable pdf documents. The documents will be sent using docusign and I do not want to include the data sheet. Is there any way to do this other than deleting the data page?

Hyperlinks in PDFs

We use Acrobat Pro 10 / LiveCycle Desginer to create our fill-able forms to then publish on our website. Our users can click the form on our webpage, the PDF opens in Chrome just fine and they can fill in the fields. But when a user trys to click on the Hyperlinks, the Hand doesn't turn into the Finger allowing you to click the link and go to the webpage. When looking at the properties of this PDF, I can see there are restrictions. I only want to allow my customers to click on the Hyperlinks. Keep in mind, they are using Chrome with default Chrome PDF Viewer. Also, many of our internal users do not use Adobe to view/edit PDFs. Their default PDF viewer if eCopy or PowerPDF, so when they open this form in those applications, the Hyperlinks do not work either. The hyperlinks only work if I open with Adobe.

Also, I saw a security restriction in the document properties where is says can only be opened with Acrobat.

Is there way to modify this?

I AM BRAND NEW TO THIS AND HAVE PROTECTED A DOCUMENT THAT I NEED TO EDIT.

The missing info is just at the end of the form, which is only 5 pages. Everything else I typed in the form is showing. What gives?

It's telling me that to add people as contributors to a form, they either need to have an account or they have to have verified email addresses. How do I verify their email addresses?

auto sizing text area depending on amount of text

I have a form which has 5 separate signature areas.

There are also 4 areas to input data. The problem is the at the fill in area size is predefined in the PDF, I need the fill in area to have the ability to grow based on the information placed in the field. Once filled in and signed by the originator it will then be forwarded to each of the persons required for approval. Can fill and sign do this?

Currently i take the word document and create a PDF of the completed form and add the signature panels required.

do I need to sign all acrobat .pdf's.? and how do I sign all VPAT for disabled person?

I am disabled and I have seen all of your .pdf's but have not known what it is you want from me. I have signed multiple PDF's tried to get software or something for your cloud, but still no working software. My computer is now maxed out and I no longer have any room. Am I supposed to now uninstall all my Adobe software then reinstall it ? I know all about section 508 and 1194 and Adobe is the only one who has me go through all of this. I am physically disabled, which makes me mentally disabled and in your process I am beyond mentally disabled. I think my PC IS AT THE STAGE OF NO RETURN.

I would really like to know what and how I can get the VPAT section 508 and 1194 Adobe software so I can finally start learning it. I and I am sure many others would really like to know how us special needs people can access and activate Adobe Software. I am not interested in software that is going to expire in 6 months or when ever. Microsoft gave us special needs people access to there software many moons ago and I have never had to renew any of it.

Please reply in a step by step procedure so I can finally get to use some Adobe software again. I worked with 3D Studio Max Professionally along with Flash, photoshop and many more Adobe Software and I would really like to know what has changed and learn it so when I have no more insurance or money maybe I could try to find work.

Thank you for your time and I do hope you will help all of us Special Needs Disabled people so I can stop writing letters and get down to trying to learn.

Hello Community - My problem is with "Adobe Annual". I have been working with it successfully for 6 months filling in the forms saved to "my documents" but yesterday it changed. It used to allow me to pull up a saved document and type into it so I could efficiently and neatly fill the blanks... It still allows me to fill in my initials or signature but will not allow me to fill in the typed words I need to enter any longer. When I try to fill in the form a pop up window reads: "The encoding (CMap) specified by a font is missing." Please help...

Is there a way to change the email on this forum?
