How do I take a picture in Adobe Shape CC, I have logged in and I am on the library screen, and thats as far as I can go. I can click on a library, I can create a new library, and there is only the shape icon in the top left hand corner that goes to settings, there are no other buttons to click to bring up the camera to take a picture. What am I doing wrong, oh yeah I;m on a iPhone 4 if that helps.

I've been playing with Shape a bit, but I can't get it do what it says on the tin. This is an image from the App store Shape page:

I printed it, pointed my phone at it, moved the slider up and down and I got:

There's no nice detail, and I can't get dark areas to fill. I'm willing to give Adobe the benefit of the doubt and blame it on user error, and not suggest that the image in the app store is a... shall we say... 'illustrative depiction' but I just can't find any other settings. Any ideas? Thanks

You can access your shapes in the Libraries panel within Photoshop and Illustrator. If you would like to share the file with another person, simply drag the shape onto your canvas and then save the shape as a new file. From here, you can email the file or add it to a shared drive.

I am using Adobe Shapes and I've been creating files and saving them to the library. I cannot download the files from the library, the only option it gives me is to delete them. Is there a way I can download the vector files created and use them directly in Illustrator?

Installed many times Shape but apps go in crash.
i follow the isntruction you give on another discussion but not effect sorted..
i dont have access to privacy to check Camera and also i dont see Shape app in the setting section..

Is there a way to define settings in Shape CC? The vectors are too smoothand angles are rounded.

I am tracing from images in my photos from saved images of drawings and vectors and these are coming out too smooth with rounded edges. Is there another way other than tracing in Ai?

This seems simple but am stuck (haven't used CC for file syncing) ... I just tried Adobe Shape CC on my iPhone. Great! File is saved to "My Library" and I can see it on my phone and on the web at: https://assets.adobe.com/assets/libraries. But it doesn't sync to my desktop. How do I move it from my libraries into my "Files" so I can open it on my computer and use it in Illustrator?

I installed Adobe Shape on my iPhone (iOS 8) and don't see, where the shapes are saved.

In CC app for iOS there are no files (and used space in CC is 0 Mb). And I don't see my shapes in your other your apps (for iOS: Ideas, Photoshop Mix).

How can I export shapes to any files storages?

Hi. have an iPhone 6 plus.

Restored from a backup from an iPhone 6.

Now Adobe Shape crashes on startup. Anyone else experiencing this?

All software up to date.

Sometimes my saved shapes disappear from my library. Why?! Is there any way to get them back?

How do I download my Adobe Shape SVG's to my PC? It literally doesn't say anywhere. I even contacted the support and the guy didn't even know what the Creative Cloud was.

All the shapes you create with Adobe Shape are stored in a CC Library. This means you can access them in other desktop, mobile, and web apps. Detailed instructions below.

How to access your shapes in Creative Cloud

Desktop: In order for this to work, you must have the most recent version of Illustrator and Photoshop.

Open Adobe Illustrator on your desktop.
Open the Libraries panel (Windows > Libraries)
Your shapes should be present in your Libraries. If you don’t see them there, select the libraries drop down to see if you saved your shapes in a different library.
Now, you can drag the shape onto your canvas.
At this point, you can continue working with your shape, by adding editing. Or, you can simply save the file. Of course, after you save it to your desktop, you can email, post online, etc.

Mobile apps:

Open Adobe Illustrator Draw and open a drawing.
Tap the Shapes icon to open the Shapes menu.
Tap a library name to view the shapes in the Creative Cloud Library. Tap Change Library to select another library.
Select your shape by tapping on it.
Active Slide or Tocuh Slide. You can use Adobe Slide or Touch Slide to place the shape on the canvas. Access Touch Slide by tapping on the circular icon at the top of the menu bar.
Place the shape. Once you have activated Touch Slide, you will see a light rendition of your shape on the canvas. Simply double tap on the shape outline to stamp the shape in place.

Navigate to https://assets.adobe.com/
Select the Libraries menu item (left menu on the page)
Select the desired library (if this is your first time using Libraries, you will only have one).

If you are using the latest versions of Illustrator and Photoshop, you don't need to worry about the file type--since the file will be converted automatically to work best in each app. But, if you must now, Shape creates SVG files for use in vector editing apps like Illustrator and PDF files for use in app such as Photoshop.

Shapes created in Adobe Shape can be modified in Illustrator or Photoshop and saved as a separate file. However, your new file will not be updated in Adobe Shape.
