After I installed version 11.4 I have IE not responding box pop up on my desk top every time I exit IE9. Removed 11.4 and replaced with previous version of 11.3 no prblems. Why is this?

For days now I am unable to view live programming on the internet on a lot of the sites I have had no problem doing so in the past
keeps telling me "Thin API Exception: User must reauthenticate"
On some sites it askes me to log in to my cable provider and when I go to
do this nothing hapends but it tells me I am not allowed to view the content
I have tried Firefox Chrome Explorer and Safari

Any help is greatly appreciated

Is there a removal tool for the Babylon software that rode into my computer on a recent FlashPlayer update ? It is obtrusive and useless. I cannot find it listed in my directory. HELP!!

I'm using 64-bit windows 7 and IE 9 32 bit. Adobe Flash Player 11.3.300.271. I'm constantly getting message telling me to update my version of flash-player in Facebook games (Castleville, Gardens of Time) When I try to install I get some message from the system saying the file is password protected. Please help this is really getting annoying.

If i can install Flash Player 11.4 on my home PC Vista Home basic with 3 browsers?

audio is choppy/stutters

My company streams live auctions via a streaming server provider to about 250 - 500 people a day. I have had several of them tell me that watching my live streaming video, that the audio comes through choppy. They can hear every other word. Some of them will hear the audio clearly if they minimize their Internet Explorer browser or even go to another tab. These calls started coming into me sometime in May. Over the past several weeks, I have found the same commonality between users. Many of them say they can watch a Youtube video, but that type of video is not a live stream. Also, it seems to happen on any website that is doing a live video stream (www.lmaauctions.com; www.cattleusa.com; www.dvauction.com).

Win XP SP3 machine

usually all with 2 or less GB of RAM

Adobe Flash Player 11 ActiveX (sometimes 10 ActiveX)

I have not checked into their video drivers. Did not think about that, but I do have a computer in my office that does the choppy playback and will see if the user will allow me to update their video drivers. I have tried the uncheck Enable Hardware Acceleration on hers and increasing local storage and neither of these things had any effect on it.

Are these older computers not able to handle a live video stream via Flash Player? Would rolling the flash player back to an earlier version help?

Problem loading files from inside an swf in newer versions

Hi,

I have the following problem: My swf loads xml files to display content, for some reason with version in Firefox 12.0 with flashplayer11_2r202_235_win_32bit there is no problem, but with newer version the files do not load and I get an IOEventError but if I use exactly the same url in the web browser I can access the file.

Does anybody know any reason why this could be happening?

Hi all.

I'm trying to build multithreaded app for mobile but my initial test showed something like this:

on desktop emulator:

WorkerDomain.isSupported returns true and everything is working fine.

same app on device (htc one x and nexus 7):

WorkerDomain.isSupported returns true but

WorkerDomain.current.createWorker(new WorkerSWF()) returns null and as a result worker.createMessageChannel(Worker.current) throws an error.

In both cases Capabilities.version = "AND 11,4,400,252"

Am I doing something wrong?

Hello, I wish to adress this forum with the following problem.

There is this browser based, running on flash online game I have been playing for a while now (http://www.gunshine.net/) and everything worked fine until a few days ago. I tried to join the game via chrome as usual, but after the initial loading screen all I got was this black screen

I tried switching to mozilla/opera but that didn't help and the same black screen kept appearing. Then I took my sisters laptop to see if it was maybe an ingame problem but it wasn't, everything worked fine from there. I applied all of the possible fixes provided here http://helpx.adobe.com/flash-player/kb/common-problems-flash-player.html, but I still keep having the same problem. This made me think that maybe the issue wasn't flash related, but ever since the "black screen event" I have also noticed some youtube videos simply freezing or not loading without any obvious reason(dropping connection, stopping the download). Also I sometimes cant expand images on facebook which made my belief that this was a flash issue even firmer.

And those would be the issues I'm experiencing. I have a Windows Vista 32bit with 11.3.31.227 version of flash installed. Any help is welcome.

I was working on encrypting some files in a worker using AIR, when I ran into this strange error...

SecurityError #0 - file

at FileWorker/onChannelMessage()[/Users/axon/Projects/Flash/WorkerFile/src/FileWorker.as:32]

at flash.system::MessageChannel/internalAddEventListener()

at flash.system::MessageChannel/addEventListener()

This error triggers when simply placing some code to create a File class instance from a path in my background worker.

It's a Flash Builder 4.6 project

What I would like to know, is how do i open a file from a background worker? I didn't spot it on the not allowed list with the release notes, so I am baffled at this point.

Youtube video issues and Flash game freezing

Upon automatically downloading 11.3 again (despite downgrading to fix it for one startup) an issue has resurfaced for Youtube videos and Flash games.

While watching videos on Youtube, the time bar at the bottom jitters and splits. If there is an advertisement, the Skip Ad text and window split apart, shaking.

While there is no lag in the normal size nor widescreen, fullscreen has severe lag and is not watchable. This applies for all qualitiies, 240p to 1080p. Until the 11.3 update I had no issues whatsoever watching fullscreen videos at 1080

Finally, Flash games have a tendancy to lose progress and freeze. For example, a puzzle game may have a menu listing each level. Upon beating the first level, one returns to the level screen to choose the next - either the game freezes here or the next level is not available. This is not a game-specific bug, it seems to be an issue updating previous sections of the Flash code. Upon reloading the games, the progress is lost and one must start over, as if that first level had not even been touched.

I'm running Chrome on Windows XP.

Finally, somewhat irrelevent, this text window seems to have a tendency to force the text cursor up two lines and add additional lines at the bottom, causing me to type on a previous line spontaneously and force the window to scroll for the newly created lines, as if Enter had been pressed several times.

Additional info - This occurs in 11.4 as well.

after having failed in all known methods to uninstall a Flash® Player release I come here asking for any suitable help.

What kind of help?

I'd like to know how to uninstall Flash® Player 11.3.370.178 ActiveX (x86) from Windows 8 CP with ALL "Windows 8 Apps" (formerly known as "Metro style design") disabled, in order to install the 11.4.400.252 Beta 2 release (Active X, for IE 10 Desktop).

No problem at all with the Beta 2 plugin for other browsers than IE.

If someone can give me any word different from "You failed simply because you cant" he'll be welcome.

YouTube audio/video out of sync, Google Spreadsheets charts won't load

I use Google Chrome. I just got a new computer. Whenever I watch a YouTube video, I notice that the video is a fraction of a second ahead of the audio. This isn't just me thinking it might be; it is out of sync. That's one problem, and I believe Flash is related.

My other problem lies in Google Docs. I honestly don't know if this is actually related to Flash, but a friend told me it was (?). Most of the time when I close a Google Doc after it says "All changes saved," it still prompts me not to close it lest I lose unsaved changes, as though it were still in the process of saving. That's annoying and a hindrance, but at least it doesn't affect any functionality.

However, in Spreadsheet, I have some spreadsheets that have charts on their own sheets. I click them, and they don't load, unlike with my previous computer. Sometimes, I click the spreadsheets, and it doesn't even open the sheet, let alone show me the actual chart.

Any potentially relevant knowledge is appreciated. Thanks!

Flash PLayer won't install on Windows XP

Hello,

I've tried to install the newest flash player on about 20 PC's (all Windows XP, 32-Bit) at work and it won't do it on any of them. I download the installer, start it... and nothing happens.

I even deinstalled the flash player completly on one System and then tried to install the current one. Same result. In the end I was forced to install a terribly old version.

Does somebody know what might be the problem?

Flash Player Global Settings issues

I am unable to browse for a folder location to be added under trusted locations. It seems to work fine when i use IE or Firefox, but it will not give me a folder option under Chrome. It allows me to select it, but it will always default to the choose file option, instead of the selected choose folder option.

It was working fine yesterday, but stopped working as of today. I have uninstalled and reinstalled chrome and completely deleted the flash player folder under my user profile, but neither were successful in fixing the problem. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

edit - i have narrowed it down to a chrome issue. It appears to only affect the users in our office whose chrome has been updated to version 21. Anyone in our office who is still on version 20 is not having the issue.

Adobe Flash Will Stop Working After Advertisements In Middle Of Video

I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling the new version (11.3.300.268) of Adobe Flash, along with restarting my computer, and using Firefox, Internet Explorer, and Google Chrome.

My OS: Windows 7 (64-Bit)

My flash works fine for streaming on CTV as well as Youtube. I continue to have problems using global and slice video centres.

On Firefox, Internet Explorer, and Google Chrome - video was able to load, watching the first 10 min of any video and once an advertisement during the video plays (like a commercial), video will go black and stay that way.

Now on Firefox, when I press play to watch a video on global or slice video will freeze my whole computer for 30 seconds to approximately 1 minute and then turn into a grey screen and show a message saying adobe has crashed. I have sent a crash report on that multiple times.

It was working fine a few days ago. Not sure if I had updated something which caused Adobe Flash to stop working. Would like to know how to fix it.

Ok, with the previous release, I ran into the issue where YouTube videos and online games weren't working after I updated, so I went through the pain of uninstalling and reverting back to an earlier, functioning version while this was hammered out. Another release came along, and that one installed fine. Now, with this latest one, I'm back to my old problem where things aren't working, and again I have to go through the frustration of uninstalling and reinstalling.

Is there something I'm doing wrong on my end that is making this screw up so often? I'm running Firefox on my netbook, on a 32-bit system. Anything more than that, you're going to have to talk me through what you need and where to find it, because I'm not the most savvy with this - I can follow directions, but yeah...not my area of expertise. ^_^;

Any help would be greatly appreciated. I'm now a little gunshy about updating when I see there's a new Flash release, because yeah... So please, help?

I have a .SWF that runs quickly on Mac but slowly on a Windows PC.

The Mac has OS X 10.7.4 and uses the pre-release 11.4.400.231 debugger version of the flash player.

The PC uses Windows 7, service Pack 1 and uses the 11.3.300.265 version of the debugger player.

The animation in question has been set to run at 35 FPS and takes about 3 seconds on the MAC. It runs fine on the MAC whether in 11.4 or 11.3.

The same animation on the PC takes upwards of 30 seconds to run when in 11.3, but when I switch to the pre-release 11.4 version, it performs as well as on the MAC.

Stand-alone Linux tmp location?

We have a swf that needs access to downloaded/cached flv files. On the Linux stand-alone flash those files are immediately deleted when the swf goes out of memory (I've read the posts regarding 'shadow delete' on linux). Is there a configuration setting or settings that allow us to change the location of the cache, e.g., /var/tmp or the behavior the 'shadow delete'? Command line parameters?

I've looked at the admin guide and don't see anything in there or here -> http://www.macromedia.com/support/documentation/en/flashplayer/help/settings_manager.html

Flash Player 11.3.300.265 is not able to make connection with RED5 server over Win-7

With latest versions of Flash Player 11.3.300.xx Plug-in Versions, we are not able to make connection with Red5 server over Windows 7 64bit and 32bit.

- We are getting errors "Error connecting: NetConnection.Connect.Failed".

- With older(11.0.xx.xx) of flash player we are able to make connection.

Configurations :

FireFox :12

Flash : 11.3.300.265

OS : window -7 64 bit and 32 bit
