We have been warning of the Adobe Revel shutdown using your Revel login email for a year and are in the process of permanently clearing the Revel servers of user data. If you somehow missed these warnings, know you had assets in Revel, and would like to try to retrieve your assets you may still be able to retrieve them following the instructions outlined below.
To check if your assets are still available follow these steps:
-Download the downloader app for your OS. https://www.adoberevel.com/downloader-app
-Unzip it (On Windows be sure to right click "extract all" to completely unzip the folder and its contents)
-Launch the unzipped application from the unzipped folder
-Log into the downloader (using your Adobe/Revel ID)*
After logging in if you do not see any libraries listed and you are expecting some make sure you didn't create your Revel account with an alternate email. If you still do not see any libraries your Revel assets have been removed from the servers and are not recoverable.
If you do see your Revel libraries listed continue with these steps:
-Select the libraries you want to download
-Specify the location
-The files then end up in the location you specify.
*One important log-in note:
If you encounter a phone number dialog while attempting to log into the downloader do the following.
Go to www.adobe.com and log into the web site using your Revel ID (Which is an Adobe ID) - upper right corner has a sign in link.
If you aren't again asked for a phone number at that point click on the "Communication" tab
Add a phone number there.
Once you're set up on Adobe.com you can relaunch the Adobe Downloader and log in without the phone number dialog popping up.
