Weighting is a very powerful feature but it can be a pain to manage new items and ordering if you follow a basic 1,2,3,4,5 increment method.
If you work in incrememnts of a 100 you will have much better control.
Imagine if you had a few web app items and you have them as the following...
100, 200, 300, 400, 500, 600.. and so on.
When you want to insert one between 100 and 200 you can simple add a web app item with weighting of 150. What about another one? this can be 140 to be before or 160 after.
You have much more control in your ordering and it is a lot easier to manage. For large amounts of items you could even go into 1000, 2000, 3000.
