Troubleshooting Tax Codes

    When I'm viewing the shopping cart I can not see the tax being added to the total price

    There are couple of reasons why the tax would not be included into a price:

     

    1. The product(s) in the cart is missing a tax codes under Product Details -> Add Prices to the product.

    2. The country dropdown for the tax code does not match the country dorpdown of the URl you are viewing the site in. The country dropdown in E-Commerce > Tax Codes must match the country dropdown of the URL in Site Settings > Site Domains.

    I can not see the state or the country dropdown on the shopping cart

    If you can not see the country or the state dropdown in the shopping cart that means that you're probably missing the true parameter in {tag_shippingoptions}. In this case you need to replace {tag_shippingoptions} with {tag_shippingoptions,true}.
