How to re-enable the Continuous and Text Reflow view modes

Version 10

Adobe Reader for Android has the following four options for view modes by default.

    • Continuous
    • Single Page
    • Text Reflow
    • Turn Night Mode On/Off

However, Adobe Reader for Android hides the Continuous and Text Reflow view modes when the Android Accessibility service is enabled.

To get the two missing options back, you need to turn off the Android Accessibility service.

    1. Go to your Android device's Settings.

    2. Select Accessibility.

    For Android 4.1 and newer

    3. Tap TalkBack and turn off the switch.

    For Android 4.0

    3. Tap TalkBack and turn off the switch.

    4. Tap Explore by touch and turn off the switch (if not disabled at Step 3).

Note: Alternatively, you can disable Explore by touch only and leave TalkBack active.

    For Android 3.2 and older

    3. Uncheck Accessibility checkbox.

    4. Uncheck TalkBack checkbox.

The user interface may vary depending on your Android OS version and device type (tablet or phone).

Please give us feedback at adobereader-android@adobe.com, if you think that turning off Accessibility to see all four view modes is not a feasible solution for you.
