Ok, I know that the chances of this ever happening are somewhere between none and zero, so I'm really more venting than anything else.
NodeJS for server-side scripting and the ability to consume REST apis server-side (local and remote) would actually be more than halfway useful.
Anyway, just tossing it out there for discussion, as I don't know a better place to post.
