Remove "What's New" area from admin interface

The last news feed is from Oct 2014. Please remove this widget if there are no plans to update the system in a way that an end-user / client cares about (ex. admin interface refresh, which is another request altogether!). The very out-dated news is embarrassingly reveals to clients that the platform is not getting the love in feature upgrades in order to stay competitive.
