Brush issues with going back and forth between October 2017 update and older version

Hi guys, while teaching Photoshop I'm having issues this semester with some students having the newest update while the schools only update at the end of the semester.

I tried opening a student TPL in the older version and got a message that the tpl was not compatible with this version of Photoshop. How can we open old TPLs?

One of my students wants to use the old Bert Monroy maple leaf and grass but she can't find it in the new update. Where are they?

Unfortunately, I need to match up with the schools so I don't have the newest update myself.

Sorry about the inconvenience caused.

Could you please ask students to updated to the latest version CC 19.0.1 of Photoshop CC and check if that helps?

Also, are they dragging and dropping the brushes into Photoshop or loading them via preset manager?

Thanks Akash, I'm sure updating to the latest version would fix the problem. However, the schools I work at don't update in the middle of the semester so I must to work with students who have both versions. I always load brushes through the preset manager.

I would still like an answer to the other question, are the old leaves somewhere in the legacy brushes in the newest version?
