"Lightroom Catalog" appears as an album after transition to Lightroom CC. Can I delete it?

I just transitioned from Lightroom Classic to Lightroom CC. After many, many hours it finished (hooray!). In Lightroom CC I see an album in the album list named "Lightroom Catalog" that contains all of my photos. Is it necessary to keep that album?

It has been my experience that deleting folders and albums does not delete the contents.  You should be able to the album created during migration
