Use typescript for scripting?

I was wondering if it is possible to use typescript to target indesign?

Or any other way to connect to InDesign (for instance with Visual Studio Code)?

Yes, here is a guide how to start using TypeScript with Adobe ExtendScript.

It works with Visual Studio Code too.
