Having trouble opening files from desktop

This is the case in all of my CC programs - when I go to open a file that is located in my Documents or Desktop folder, the folders AREN'T showing. My disk drives are, but the rest aren't. This has only been the case since updating to the 2018 version and it's made it very irritating.

The images below show the issue. The image on the left shows the folders as they appear when trying to open a document in Photoshop. Under Remote Disk, all of the folders should be showing up like they do in the Finder (pictured to the right).

A solution to this problem would be highly appreciated.
