Microsoft Surface - Photoshop CC 2018 no font text

Hello,

i got the problem, that i can use the font tool and type in text, but it is not shown in the tool. A new plain is created and teh text is shown there in the title, but i can´t see it in the main window. All opacitiy values etc. are configured on 100%, changing fonts type or font size makes no difference. What can i do to see the fonts?

Help would be quite appreciated!!

Can you post a screenshot with all the layers and panels open, also check here to make sure you have the appropriate colour selected

Please try resetting the preferences of Photoshop & let us know if it helps: Preferences in Photoshop

Have you tried resetting the Type Tool

This one was the right hint, didn´t know that you can set the font tool to default. Now it works fine, thank you all!

As you're not able to see the text in the text box, could you please share a few screenshots with us so that we can understand the issue in a better way and provide you a possible solution or a workaround?

If you double click the text layer to highlight the text can you see anything then?
