Can anyone tell me how to create a contact sheet in Lightroom CC 2018?

No such feature in LR CC
You will have to use LR CC Classic for that

Thank you, that's what I thought. It seems that LR CC 2018 is no longer geared toward professionals.

It's only version 1.1 where the Classic version is over a decade old and at version 7.1
The, fairly new, Lr CC and it's Mobile companion will be just as robust as the classic version sooner than we may expect.

Both CC and Classic had feature updates just today.

There isn't any such program. There is no Lightroom CC 2018.

As Neox99 says, there are now two programs. Lightroom Classic is the next one on fro Lightroom 6. Lightroom CC is a brand new cloud native app.
