Can anyone help me troubleshoot this system requirements error? I've re-enabled the "Anywhere" button on the apps downloaded box and it still doesn't work.
Check your file system.

Try a downloadable installer if you are using discs.

I have the same problem. I'm not sure what I'm suppose to do with "check your file system". I am using "Mac OS Extended (Journaled, Encrypted)" That is supported right? So what do I do now?

Right or ctrl-click on the CS4 install.app, Select "Show Package Contents" from the menu, open the Contents folder, then the MacOS folder. Drag the "exec" icon into the Terminal window and press "Enter" to launch it and run the installer.

ok. got somewhere but it is saying invalid serial number.
it is the correct number. i am copying it off the original cd box
could this be because i did not uninstall it from my old computer?

No, you would be then told you have "too many activations".
Run it as a trial, and then try the serial number when you restart. However this seems to suggest someone sold you a counterfeit product and Adobe has blocked the serial number.

it was purchased from the apple store on prince street in nyc.

Then hopefully no one copied your serial number and passed it around.
Did you register your software with Adobe when you got it? If not,go to your account under adobe.com and try and register it using your serial number.
You will have to contact Customer Care by chat if that doesn't work because we have no say over serial numbers.

ok. i think it was registered because it comes up as one of my products with serial number when i login to adobe.
thanks for your time. fingers crossed

Considering I and the person who started the post are using an older version from Adobe, I am using cs5.5 design standard and I have already done the terminal installation and got my purchased product on my computer, but now the problem is that my images in Photoshop are pixelated. I know the new upgrade in mac is causing issues for us old adobe users who dont want to convert to the CC, but is there a way to fix this pixelation?
