Hi, i need to select and adjust the color of on the person in this image. i did a color range selection but that does not select what i need since its a ghost out image. Any suggestions on how to select only the person to adjust the colors as needed for the client?

You could try a hue/saturation layer to target the cyans (which I've changed to red in the example). You will need to mask the pen and donut.
