laptop states i have flash, all other web pages say its not installed

I am not able to get the flash player to work. I have to view live chats for school and it says I have to install adobe flash in order to view it, then when I go to download it states that I already have it. all the troubleshooting I have done so far says it should be working, but its not. I have no idea what to do now.

Assuming your on Windows 10 with IE/Edge or Chrome.  Please see the following:

• Enable Flash Player for Edge on Windows 10.
  • Troubleshooting Flash Player on Microsoft Edge
  • Extending User Control of Flash with Click-to-Run - Microsoft Edge Dev BlogMicrosoft Edge Dev Blog
• Enable Flash Player for IE on Windows 10.
• Enable Flash Player for Chrome.

If you're not using one of these, provide the operating system (including version) and browser (including version).
