How is it that I have low disk usage, low cpu usage, and low ram usage but its rendering my work area incredibly slow? I know this has been asked a million times but I have gone though tons of posts and haven't found the solution. Any ideas?

I'm having the issue when rendering to preview. This is with no effects just putting media in and rendering the work area. No GPU rendering.

YOU FIXED IT!!

While writing the response I saw that I was updated to the latest so manually downloaded and installed the update since the updater wasn't doing it and it fixed the issue.

Thank you

LATEST

I was on 6.0.0 and updated to the newest 6.0.5

whatever was in the update since the initial 6.0.0 fixed the issue and now it uses all 12 cores. Much much faster. No setting changes on my side. New processor architecture though so that might have something to do with the original release not working as well? Not sure.
