If you do not see "Extended" here, you do not have 3D  You have Standard Photoshop, not Extended.

To add to Ged's comments - 3D in CS6 requires both the extended version and a supported GPU.

Open Photoshop CS6

Go to Photoshop menu > About Photoshop. It must say Extended on the pop-up screen, If it does not, It won't have 3D menu.

About Photoshop should show extended, if you  have it. Also when you open Photoshop extended, it should look like the second screen shot/
